Your subscription bill went up, but nobody joined or left?

It nearly always happens. Plans went up in price, the auto-renewal passed in silence, some seats still belong to people who left. Someone sits in two subscriptions with the same features. The vendor's statement will never tell you what exactly you were charged for.

A report you can check

By the end of the review you know what you pay for each month. We go through the subscriptions line by line: who has an account, who is on which plan, who used it in the last ninety days and who never did. In the contract: the renewal date, the cancellation window and the reason the price went up.

You end up with a list: what to drop, what to downgrade, what to move to annual billing and what that gives you over a year. Every line comes with a number and a consequence, not with advice to «tidy things up».

With that report you can go to the vendor or the reseller and talk about price — even if you renew without us.

Questions

We buy through a reseller. Will they take offence?

No. The audit looks at your subscriptions and your contract, not at somebody else's work. The report is written so you can take it to that same reseller and talk price in numbers. Who renews your subscriptions stays your call, after the review too.

How much money usually turns up?

Promising a number up front would be dishonest: some have no spare seats at all, others carry a third of their subscriptions in the names of people who left. Every line of the report comes with a yearly figure, so you weigh the price of the review against what we found yourself, rather than take our word.

The renewal is in two weeks. Can you make it?

Often yes. An invoice review takes a working day, a subscription audit up to fifty seats takes up to three. The first thing we look at is the cancellation window in the contract: it is often shorter than it seems, and it is what decides how much we can change before this renewal.

What do you need from us to start?

Read-only access to the admin console, the latest vendor invoice and the contract with them. Nothing has to change at this step: the audit only looks and counts. Edits come later, from your list and on your say-so.
