Intake for law firms
Every enquiry is written down and checked.
$149 per month for 100 enquiries · $1.49 beyond the bundle.
Who answers when a client rings to ask about their case?
The receptionist, for whom that is the hundredth such question today. Or nobody: the phone rings while you are in a hearing. And on the same line at that moment there is a new enquiry — someone choosing a lawyer right now, who will ring the next one a minute later.
The case question gets an answer straight away
The agent answers around the clock and tells the two callers apart at once: to your client it gives the case status, once it has checked that it really is them; to a new caller it asks your questions and books a consultation.
It checks every enquiry against your conflict-of-interest list and, by your firm's criteria, screens out the matters you do not take. What lands in Clio or MyCase is a record with a transcript, not a line saying "a client called".
A night-time enquiry you read in full in the morning: name, phone, the substance of the matter and what the person was promised.

Questions
The agent will not give legal advice, will it?
No. It gathers the facts and books a consultation; to "what should I do" it answers that a lawyer decides that, and sets a meeting. You draw the line in the script, and it does not move during the call.
How will it know it is our client calling and not a stranger?
By your set of questions: phone number, case number, date of birth — you decide which ones to ask. If they do not match, the agent will not give the case status at all and transfers the call to a member of staff.
What counts as an enquiry?
A conversation carried through to its point: a new matter, a status, a booked consultation. Spam, robocalls and a hang-up in the first second do not count at all — you do not pay for them and they never reach your summary.
We have a receptionist. Is this instead of her?
No. The agent takes the night, the weekend, the second line and the repeated status question — the things that eat up her day. During working hours it hands the call to her under your rule.
Tell us how many enquiries you take a month and which system you keep your cases in — we will send a quote by email.
We have your request
We answer during the hours listed in the contacts at the foot of the page. The quote and the conversation come first — nothing is signed and nothing is charged.
