Who do you write to when the task does not fit into one service?
Here. Half of all enquiries begin with "everything is broken" or "it was needed yesterday" — and that is a normal way to start a conversation. Working out what exactly is needed and in what order is the contractor's job, not the customer's.
What happens after your email
The request is read by a person, not an answering machine. In reply you get either a quote, or the two or three questions without which a quote cannot be put together.
The conversation takes fifteen minutes and commits you to nothing: by the end it is clear what needs doing, in what order and what it will cost. Nothing is signed and nothing is charged.
If the task is not ours, we will say so straight away and name who to take it to.
Questions
We have not worked out what we need yet. Is it too early to write?
No. Start with one line about what is getting in the way. The questions after that are ours to ask, and after the first email you will have a clear list of work — even if you decide not to have us do it.
We are in another state. Is that a problem?
No. Computers, email, servers and telephony are looked after remotely; an engineer's visit is needed where hands are: installation, replacing hardware, taking over an office. A visit is priced separately and named before the work.
We need an invoice, a purchase order and payment after delivery.
That is exactly how we work with public buyers and schools: an invoice, a purchase order number, payment within thirty days, no card and no prepayment. The procurement process is described in the public sector section.
One line is enough — we come back with questions or straight away with a quote.
We have your request
We answer within the working window listed in the contacts at the foot of the page. A conversation first — nothing is signed and nothing is charged.
