Who looks at your cloud bill before it arrives?
Usually nobody. Machines were spun up for a task and never switched off. Disks sit detached and still billed. A reservation was bought for a year for a load that no longer exists. The bill climbs in steady steps, and whoever set it all up left long ago.
Someone who answers for the cloud
We take the environment under daily watch: uptime, updates, backups and rights, alerts triaged and order kept in what already runs. Changes go through a request with a written description, not a quick click in the console on a Friday evening.
Spend is tracked separately. Every month you see what makes up the bill, what grew against last month and what can go without hurting the work: idle machines, forgotten disks, a plan that is cheaper reserved.
The cloud bill stays yours and comes to you directly. Our line is separate, and it is for the work.

Questions
Do we charge you on top of the cloud bill?
Yes, and they are two separate lines. The bill for spend reaches you from the cloud provider directly, with no mark-up on it. Our line is for the work: the watch, the changes and the bill review. Rolling them into one figure would hide one behind the other.
We are not on Azure. Does that change the price?
No. The price follows cloud spend, not the name on it. The work is the same either way: uptime, updates, rights, backups and the bill review. If you run two clouds, they count together — the environment is still one.
Spend jumps from month to month. Will the tier jump too?
No. The tier is set by average spend over three months and is reviewed once a quarter, not every time a one-off task ends. A move to the next tier is announced in advance, with the figure.
What happens in the first month?
An environment review: what is running, who holds rights, where the backups are and what the bill is made of. After that we settle into the normal rhythm. If the review turns up something urgent — ports open to the world, no backups — we say so at once.
