# VMware exit plan

Where to move, what it costs and no stop in the work.

**$4,030 for an exit plan of up to 25 machines · $1,120 per machine.**

## Your virtualisation bill has multiplied, and the environment is the same?

It has happened to a lot of people. The licence rules changed. The smallest bundle grew. Subscription became compulsory. Renewing is expensive, leaving is frightening: nobody remembers any more what runs on which machine, or who is responsible for getting it back up somewhere else.

## You will see the price of every option

You stop guessing. The inventory shows what runs, on what, what depends on what, what can be switched off for good and what must not stop even at night. Every machine gets an owner, a downtime window and a way back.

Then the options are compared on your own numbers: stay and renew, move to another platform, take part of it to the cloud. Each option has a three-year cost, a timeline and a risk spelled out in words. You make the decision.

The price of the plan is binding: if you then hand us the migration, the scope is already counted and does not change along the way.

### Can we just renew and change nothing?

You can, and the plan prices that too. Renewal is the first line of the comparison, with its own three-year cost. Sometimes it does come out cheaper — then you go into the negotiation holding a number, not a hunch.

### Is it true the new platform pays for part of the move?

Part of it. Nutanix currently covers up to $15,000 of partner work on a migration, and the offer runs until 31 July 2027. Whether your environment qualifies shows up after the inventory — it is the first thing we check.

### We have twelve machines. Is that too small for a plan like this?

No. Twelve machines are inventoried faster, and the tier for up to twenty-five is exactly that. A mistake in a migration costs the same on twelve machines as on a hundred: the whole company stops working, not part of it.

### How long does all this take?

The plan takes two to three weeks, depending on how well the environment is documented today. The migration goes machine by machine: each one switches over in the evening or at a weekend, and is checked in the new place before that. We never switch everything off at once.

## Where to send the quote

Tell us the number of machines and the renewal date — we will send a quote by email and call if that is easier.
