# Accessibility checks inside the build

An accessibility error stops the build, not your client.

**From $1,400 per pipeline · $175 per hour to work through failures.**

## How many times have you fixed the same accessibility errors?

Twice a year, after every audit. Between audits releases carry on as usual: a new form with no field labels, a new image with no description, a new button you cannot reach with the keyboard. The report goes stale before anyone finishes reading it.

## The same errors stop coming back

The build sees the broken page, not your visitor. The check sits in your build — GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, whatever you have — walks the key pages on every change and stops anything that breaks accessibility.

The check catches the error the day it was written, not at the next audit. Fixing it then takes minutes, not a separate project with a list of findings and a queue of priorities.

The developer sees the line of code that caused it and what to write instead, not the number of a failed criterion.

## What the setup includes

| What | State | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| The check in your build: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins | included | |
| Key pages and screens checked on every change | included | |
| Old issues block nothing, new ones fail straight away | included | |
| A failure report with the line of code and what to write instead | included | |
| A threshold where the build stops, not just turns red | included | |
| Contrast and focus order checked on the live page | included | |
| Rules and settings live in your repository | included | |
| The first week gone through together with your developer | included | |
| Build minutes you pay the provider directly, on their invoice | paid to the vendor | |

## Your price

| Plan | Price | Note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Setup | from $1,400 per pipeline | Eight hours: the rule, the page list, the report |
| Working through failures | $175 an hour, 2 hours minimum | When you need more than the setup covers |
**Setup**
- Tuned to your product, the rules go to your team
**Working through failures**
- We work through the specific failure and tune the rule to your case

### We have no automated build. Is this for us at all?

Then no. If a contractor makes the site, or it runs on a website builder, you need an audit, not a check in the build. This goes where code builds itself: your own product, your own repository, your own releases.

### Automation does not catch everything. Why bother with it?

Because it catches what keeps coming back: image descriptions, field labels, contrast, heading order. That is the most repeated part of any audit's findings. The rest is left to manual checks — less often and cheaper.

### Will a red build start getting in the way of releases?

Not if the old is kept apart from the new. Everything already broken on the day of setup goes into an agreed list and blocks nothing. Only what you broke today fails — and it gets fixed while the code is still fresh in mind.

### Once it is set up, do we pay every month?

No. Setup is a one-off job. After that you pay only for working through failures, by the hour, and only when you need it. The rules, settings and reports live in your repository and work without us — we do not keep them on our side as a condition of renewal.

## Where to send the quote

Tell us where your code is built and what the product is — we will send the numbers by email and call if that is easier.
