# Accessibility audit of a site and an application

A fix list your developer can work from.

**$100–$250 per page or screen · from $25 for a light page.**

## Who has checked that your site works without a mouse?

Nobody. It is the same at a four-person law firm and at a forty-person company. The order form cannot be filled in without a mouse. The screen reader reads the Submit button as a link. Half the images it skips in silence. You find out from a lawyer's letter or from a client questionnaire.

## A report you can actually fix from

You will learn exactly what stops a buyer from placing an order. We go through the site by hand: keyboard, screen reader, zoom to 400%. That shows what no scanner will.

Every finding comes with the page address, a screenshot, the WCAG 2.1 AA criterion number and the line of code to fix. Your developer opens the report and works, instead of guessing what was meant.

In two weeks you hold a list of fixes by priority: what to repair today, what can wait for the next release.

## What every audit includes

| What | State | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A keyboard pass: where focus goes, whether you can see it, where it gets stuck | included | |
| NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers on the buyer's journey | included | |
| Zoom to 400% and a phone with no horizontal scrolling | included | |
| Contrast of text, buttons and fields — measured, not eyeballed | included | |
| Forms: labels, errors and how to get out of an error | included | |
| Every finding with the page address, a screenshot and the criterion number | included | |
| The line of code to fix and what to write instead | included | |
| A list of fixes by priority: what to repair today, what later | included | |
| The report in your tracker or a spreadsheet, plus a call with your developer | included | |

## Your price

| Plan | Price | Note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Key pages | $100–$250 per page or screen | Home, catalogue, form, checkout |
| The rest of the pages | $25–$87 per light page | Same-shaped ones: product cards and articles |
| App screens | $150–$210 per app screen | iOS and Android on a real device |
| Retest | 45% of the initial audit | After everything is fixed |
**Key pages**
- A pass along the buyer's journey: find, choose, order, pay
**The rest of the pages**
- We check one sample and a selection, not every single one
**App screens**
- A real device, VoiceOver and TalkBack, not an emulator
**Retest**
- We check only the findings from the first report

## Extras

| What | State | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Testing your journey with screen readers for blind users | not included | $175 per hour |
| A session with a user with a disability | not included | $450 per session |
| Documents: contracts, invoices, manuals | not included | from $5.60 per page |
| VPAT and a conformance report for procurement | not included | from $605 per edition |
| Accessibility checks inside the build | not included | from $1,400 per pipeline |

### There are four of us and the site has five pages. Is an audit not for us?

No. The bill is counted by pages: a five-page site costs like a five-page site. Same-shaped pages go at the lower rate and are checked by sample — there is no point paying for twenty identical product cards.

### The scanner showed zero errors. Why pay a human?

Because a scanner sees only what shows up in the code: contrast, labels, headings. It does not try to place an order with the keyboard and it does not hear how a screen reader reads your button. Automation covers the smaller share of the requirements, and it is the rest that stops your buyer.

### Why does the price per page vary so much?

Because pages differ. Home, catalogue and checkout we go through in full, step by step as a buyer — those cost more. Same-shaped cards and articles we check on one sample and by selection. Which page lands in which group we tell you before the work starts.

### We have fixed everything. How do we prove it is all right now?

With a retest. It costs 45% of the initial audit and looks only at the findings from the first report. On its results we prepare a VPAT — the conformance report on the standard form, the one your client and procurement ask for.

## Where to send the quote

Give us your site address and how many pages it has — we will send the quote by email and call if that is easier.
