# Packages under the procurement threshold

A ready quote that goes through without a tender.

## What do you do when the tender will not finish in time?

You postpone the purchase by a quarter. Then by another, because the request came back over the wording. People work on machines that have not been updated in three years, and the money set aside for it goes back unspent — so next year you get less.

## The package is built for the threshold, not for a tender

Each package is one line item with a fixed price, a line-by-line scope of work and a deadline. You do not have to compare it with two other bids or defend it before a committee: the sum fits inside the direct purchase threshold.

The contents come from our usual line items at our usual prices: managed seats, launch, hardware and licence records. There is no separate “public” price — just a ready build that needs no fresh costing.

If you have more money than the direct purchase threshold, we do not split the order: you take an annual contract inside the grant threshold — the sum is counted for the year and defended once.

### Why is the top tier $13,900 and not $15,000?

The threshold is measured against the total order, and that total includes things we do not treat as our mark-up: state tax and supplier invoices. The gap is deliberate — the line item should go through, not stall at the threshold on the last few dollars.

### What makes up $13,900?

Of our usual line items: forty seats at $102 a month for three months plus Day-one IT Full at $1,680. There is no separate “package” price here — just the usual price list and a ready build.

### We need twenty seats, not forty.

Then the tier changes, not the seat price: the $102 rate is the same at any number of seats, and we rebuild the package around your count and your date. There is no minimum.

### This covers a quarter. What happens next?

Next comes either an annual contract — counted for the year and defended once — or the next package. The annual tiers are already priced: fifteen seats $18,300, twenty-seven $33,000, thirty-eight $46,500.
