# Clicks. Sales. Payouts.

FinLeadGen tracking for affiliate programmes.

## What does Track do?

Track shows which ad brought the customer in and what to pay for them. You set the rule: per click, per lead, per call or per appointment. Track works the payout out from it and shows what went into the figure. Your partner sees the same numbers on their side.

## What is in Track

## How a click becomes a payout

1. **Give the partner a link** — Someone follows it — the click is marked both in the link and on our server.
2. **Set the rule** — You write the rule: one for everyone, one per campaign or one per partner. Change it whenever you like.
3. **Mark the sale** — Your site or the partner's system tells Track that a sale happened.
4. **Open the report** — The payout lands in the report together with the click, the sale and the rule that worked it out.

## A partner disputes a payout. What do you show them?

Open the payout. You see the click, you see the sale it was earned on, and the rule that worked it out. You look at it on your side, the partner on theirs, and the numbers are the same.

Rules can be changed. Yesterday's payouts are not recalculated because of it: each one stays with the rule that paid it. The new rule applies from the first click that arrives after you save it.

Partners ask the same question every time: why is the amount this? Instead of an evening in a spreadsheet you send a link, and the question is closed.

## What you see on every payout

- **NO RECALCULATION** — Change the rule today and yesterday's payouts stay exactly as they were.
- **WHAT FOR** — For every payout you see the click, the sale and the rule that worked it out.

### Do you buy or sell clicks yourselves?

No. We make software. The traffic, the partners and the payouts are yours — Track only works out and shows who is owed what.

### We already count clicks. Why Track as well?

Counting clicks and explaining a payout are different things. Track ties the click to the money: every payout shows what it was earned on.

### Will Track work with our partners?

Yes. Track sends and receives by postback, pixel and webhook — that is what partner systems run on. If a partner has their own format, we will write to it.

### Will a partner see other partners' numbers?

No. In the console a partner sees their clicks, their sales and their money. There is nothing else there.

### If I change a rule, what happens to past payouts?

Nothing. They were worked out under the old rule and they stay that way. The new rule applies from the first click that arrives after.

### What does Track cost?

We price on a call, once we have seen your flow: how many clicks you have, how many partners, and which systems Track will have to talk to. We name the figure right there.

### Can we run Track without Exchange and Engage?

Yes. Track runs on your clicks and payouts on its own. If Exchange sits next to it, Track picks the leads up from there.
